Domenica 26 luglio 2026 si terrà la XXI^ edizione del Memorial di corsa in montagna "Gerin Ruggero", organizzata dall'associazione culturale sportiva Volgelos. La gara si svolgerà nel territorio di Forni Avoltri, con partenza e arrivo nella frazione di Sigilletto. Per garantire la sicurezza dei partecipanti, sono previste limitazioni alla circolazione veicolare nel tratto compreso tra l'abitato di Sigilletto e il bivio per la Cava di Marmo Naguscel, nonché la chiusura temporanea della piazza di Sigilletto.
Domenica 26 luglio 2026: - Divieto di circolazione veicolare nel tratto da inizio abitato di Sigilletto al bivio per Cava Naguscel: dalle 9:30 alle 10:30 (o fino al passaggio dell'ultimo concorrente). - Chiusura della piazza di Sigilletto (area tra Chiesa e Bar Da Gina, compreso parcheggio antistante): dalle 8:00 alle 12:00.

Musica in quota – NAM Campus and Final Concert

From 19 to 26 July 2026, Forni Avoltri hosts the NAM music campus, dedicated to pop-rock music and aimed at young people aged 14 to 20. Participants spend the week preparing for the final concert open to the public. The final concert will be held on Saturday, 25 July 2026 at the municipal cinema hall. The initiative is organized by the N.A.M. Laboratori Musicali Association in collaboration with the Municipality of Forni Avoltri, as part of the "Musica in quota" project.
60° anniversario dell'alluvione del 1966 – Cerimonie, mostre e spettacoli

Forni Avoltri commemorates the sixtieth anniversary of the 1966 flood with a widespread program of ceremonies, exhibitions and moments of reflection, scheduled between August 2026 and January 2027. The initiative, also supported by a regional contribution, involves several places in the town and aims to keep collective memory alive through storytelling and community participation. The heart of the commemorations falls on November 4, 2026, the date that recalls the most dramatic days: flower wreaths at symbolic sites, an extraordinary city council meeting, the screening of the video “Memories of November 4, 1966” and a parade through the streets of the town with the band “Federico Vidale”, which precede the Holy Mass in the church of San Lorenzo accompanied by the Choir of Forni Avoltri. Completing the journey, a photographic exhibition set up on the ground floor of the municipal building will remain open until Epiphany 2027. Alongside the official appointments, the program includes educational meetings, a conference on emergency management and a theatrical performance, offering multiple perspectives to retrace a tragedy that deeply marked the territory and its people.
