The weekly Friday market of Gemona del Friuli is temporarily moved to piazza Comelli in July and August 2026. This initiative adds to the Fridays when the market already takes place in that square. The measure was adopted to cope with the numerous summer events in the historic center. The market will be held on July 10, 17, and 24, and August 14 and 21, 2026.
No vehicle traffic and no parking with forced removal in piazza Comelli from 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM on the indicated dates. Ordinance no. 159/2019 regulating traffic and parking in piazza del Ferro and via A. Pancheri is temporarily suspended.

Gemona del Friuli (UD)
Tempus Est Jocundum 2026 is an event that will enliven the historic center of Gemona del Friuli for several weeks, between July and August. The event includes traffic closures and parking bans in numerous squares and streets of the center, including Piazza Mons. Candusso, Piazza del Ferro, Via XXVIII Aprile and Piazza del Municipio, to allow the activities and the installation of structures. The organization is handled by the Pro Loco Pro Glemona A.P.S. Association.
Summer Cinema "Vivi Artegna" 2026

As part of the "Vivi Artegna" 2026 project, the Youth Council organizes two evenings of summer film screenings: on July 11 and August 22. The screenings are open to the public and take place in an outdoor area of the municipality. The initiative is realized with the support of the Municipality of Artegna and includes film screenings to entertain the community during the summer.

The Municipality of Venzone organizes the Centro Estivo 2026 for children aged 3 to 11, with recreational and creative activities and two day trips. The service is managed by Oasi Danze SSD a r.l. of Buja, while the trips are organized by the company Tiepolo S.r.l. of Gemona del Friuli. The summer camp takes place in the municipal territory of Venzone.
