Možnosti dialogu and Neighbours / Voisins
Kinemax-Palazzo del Cinema
Two short films by renowned directors explore the theme of dialogue and coexistence. In 'Možnosti dialogu' (1982), Czech animation master Jan Švankmajer stages encounters, clashes and metamorphoses with his unmistakable stop-motion technique, transforming everyday objects into hybrid and surreal creatures. 'Neighbours/Voisins' (1952) by Norman McLaren tackles the conflict between neighbors with irony and visual inventiveness, in a crescendo of gags and brilliant ideas. The screening, introduced by lecturer Marco Bellano, is part of the program of the Collega-menti festival, dedicated to connections between cultures, languages and expressive forms.
Time: 5:30 PM - 11:59 PM Saturday, October 3, 2026, at 5:30 PM. Introduction by lecturer Marco Bellano. Full program: festivalcollegamenti.it/collegamenti2026/programma/28/moznosti-dialogu-e-neighbours-voisins
