The theater company Teatrâl Agnul di Spère di Codroip APS presents the comedy "Canicule", adapted from Eugène Labiche's text "29 degrees in the shade". In the middle of a summer heatwave, Oreste, mayor of a small village, plays bocce in the garden of his villa with his friends Vittorio and Agostino. One afternoon, a scandal disrupts the peace: Dolfo, a passing guest, is caught courting Anita, the mayor's cunning wife. Bitten by jealousy and helped by his friends, Oreste tries to take revenge for the offense suffered from Dolfo, a cheeky individual. The watchful eye of Palmire, the mayor's mother, and the ironic smile of Galliano, the servant, comment on and enrich the scenes.
