The summer event "Muggia in Piazza 2026" returns to Muggia, enlivening Piazza Marconi for three consecutive weekends with a rich musical program. Fridays are dedicated to classical music: starting July 10 with "From Vienna to Hollywood", July 17 with "The Magic of the Piano", and July 24 with "Operetta under the Stars". Saturdays (July 11, 18, and 25) feature the "Muggia Tribute Festival 2026", with the best national and international tribute bands. Sundays (July 12, 19, and 26) are reserved for local bands with "Welcome Back Bands".

In case of bad weather, the classical music concerts on July 10 and 17 will be held at the Teatro Verdi in Muggia; the concert on July 24 will be rescheduled to Monday, July 27 in Piazza Marconi.

Mostre Mercato dell'Artigianato e Mercatino Hobbisti 2026

The Pro Loco of Muggia brings to the city a long series of craft markets and hobbyist fairs. From July to December 2026, local artisans and hobbyists display their creations in two different locations, offering the chance to discover unique handmade items and original productions. The summer events take place at Largo Nazario Sauro on the evenings of July 11 and 25 and August 8, from 7 PM to 11 PM. In autumn, in conjunction with the Barcolana, the market returns on October 10 and 11 during daytime, from 10 AM to 7 PM. With the arrival of cold weather, the event moves indoors to the Pro Loco headquarters, continuing on the weekends of November 14-15, December 5-6-7-8, and December 19-20, always from 10 AM to 7 PM.

Puliamo il Mondo 2026

Il Comune di Muggia aderisce all'iniziativa nazionale 'Puliamo il Mondo' promossa da Legambiente, giunta alla sua trentesima edizione. L'evento prevede giornate di pulizia e riqualificazione ambientale di aree pubbliche, con il coinvolgimento di volontari, cittadini e alunni delle scuole locali. I partecipanti, muniti di kit forniti dall'organizzazione, si daranno appuntamento per raccogliere rifiuti e prendersi cura del territorio, lanciando un messaggio concreto di sostenibilità e rispetto per l'ambiente.

International Media Drive Maserati

From July 12 to 25, 2026, Trieste hosts the exclusive event 'International Media Drive Maserati', organized by EWT s.r.l. on behalf of Maserati. About 120 Italian and international journalists, divided into groups, will preview the new Trident models (Grecale, GranTurismo, GranCabrio) on breathtaking city routes. The cars will be positioned in various squares and areas of the city, including Piazza dell'Unità d'Italia, Piazza della Borsa and Riva Nazario Sauro, with morning and afternoon driving sessions. The initiative offers great media visibility for Trieste as a luxury destination and promotes the territory internationally.

A performance that reconstructs an unusual portrait of the writer Umberto Saba as seen through the eyes of his daughter Linuccia. The event takes place in the second half of July at the former washhouse in Via S.
