Meravigliosa Natura di Vincenzo Stera

A concert designed for children aged 3 to 10, open to the whole family. Vincenzo Stera guides the little ones in discovering the sounds and silences of nature through narration, images, and live music by Daniele Dibiaggio (flutes, percussion, piano, cello, accordion). The show lasts about 45 minutes and is part of the Hausmusik festival, which on the same day animates other city locations such as private homes and Caffè San Marco.

In Trieste, the UISP summer camp 'Gioco, Sport e Avventura' welcomes children and teenagers aged 5 to 12 in the spaces of the Vittorio Longo Primary School, at Via Commerciale 164, a stone's throw from Campo Cologna. From June 29 to September 4, 2026, each week offers a rich program of sports activities and workshops designed to get them moving, having fun, and socializing. The days, from Monday to Friday from 8 am to 4 pm, alternate team games, sports disciplines, and creative moments, supervised by qualified staff. The sessions are limited to a maximum of 35 participants to ensure a tailored experience and plenty of fresh air.

The Castello di San Giusto hosts the summer cycle of historical-educational animations “Le stagioni delle armi”, scheduled from July to September 2026. At the Museum of Antiquities “J.J. Winckelmann”, “Legiomania” takes place, an event dedicated to Roman history, from September 18 to 20, 2026.

Mercatino dell'Antiquariato e dell'Usato 2026

Every third Sunday of the month, the Ghetto district comes alive with the traditional Antiques and Second-hand Market. Among the stalls in Largo dei Granatieri and the nearby streets, you can find Biedermeier furniture, Bohemian crystal, Viennese porcelain, objects from the Karst region, and relics of the Habsburg Empire, brought by commercial exhibitors, private individuals, and artists. The 2026 edition continues until December with the second semester dates: July 19, August 16, September 20, October 11 (special edition coinciding with the Barcolana), October 18, November 15, and December 20. Hours from 8:00 AM until sunset.

L'arte triestina al femminile nel '900 d'avanguardia italiano ed europeo

Magazzino 26 in Porto Vecchio hosts the exhibition "L'arte triestina al femminile nel '900 d'avanguardia italiano ed europeo", curated by the Cultural Association Foemina Aps and organized in co-operation with the Municipality of Trieste. The exhibition traces the contribution of Trieste's women artists to the avant-garde movements of the 20th century through a multimedia project intertwining visual art, fashion and music. The protagonists are five emblematic figures of international standing: Leonor Fini, Maria Lupieri, Maria Melan, Anita Pittoni and Miela Reina.

The initiative "Rugby nelle Piazze" brings sport and community together in the neighborhoods of Borgo San Sergio and Valmaura. On August 25th, the event takes place at Giardino Nathan Rogers, and on August 28th at Giardino Antollovich, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, to promote a healthy lifestyle, teamwork, and urban regeneration through rugby.

Estate in Terza – Cinema sotto le stelle 2026

The "Estate in Terza" series offers two evenings of outdoor cinema in the evocative garden of Villa Prinz. The screenings will take place on Wednesday, August 26 and Wednesday, September 2, 2026, curated by the Roiano x Tutti APS Association. The initiative is realized with the collaboration of the III District of the Municipality of Trieste.
