Posa delle Pietre d'Inciampo a Sgonico
Varie località del Comune di Sgonico (davanti alle ultime abitazioni delle vittime)
The Municipality of Sgonico joins the "Stolpersteine" (Stumbling Stones) project promoted by ANPI – VZPI of Trieste. Five stones will be laid in memory of as many victims of Nazi-fascist deportations, at their last homes or the place where the deportation began. The laying is scheduled for January 24, 2027, close to Holocaust Memorial Day (January 27). The initiative is curated by German artist Gunter Demnig.
